With roots in rockabilly, 1980's pop, and mainstream rock, The Rain Dogs perform original songs which are dramatic, dynamic, stylish, and accessible.

For over three decades, audiences have been engaged by singer-songwriter-guitarist Bruce Bigford's powerful vocal style, unique perspective, and signature Gretch electric guitars.

From Celtic-inspired punk-rock drinking anthems to sweeping epics about stalking, The Rain Dogs project a memorable and moving presence. When Bruce encourages crowds to "Drink and drink and drink and drink, and then you'll drink some more", they often do. And when the band blasts a swing groove and Bruce sings about his "Goth-a-billy Baby", everyone knows what he means - even if they don't.

Some of the band's influences include: The Clash, XTC, Weezer, REM, Tom Waits, The Doors, The Stray Cats, The Cure, Tom Petty, and Johnny Cash.

Brian Randall/Vocals – A late bloomer to the music world, Brian Randall didn’t start his musical ambition till after High School. With a cheap guitar he taught himself how to play. Now, just a little over a decade later, with a much nicer guitar, Brian has formed his first band with over 40 original songs in his clip. One "Lonesome Road" drawing from experiences of moving cross country to go to school, working on an Alaskan fishing boat, drew a "ones to watch" from Nashville Songwriters Association in October of 2014.. Although Brian currently works full time and raising a family of 3 young girls, Brian still manages to devote as much time to his craft as full time artists. Playing between 50-80 shows a years since the band started in Michigan’s music scene. His voice has been compared anywhere from Eric Church to Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam.
