Heartsick is regarded as one of the hardest working bands in the Midwest metal scene with a rapidly growing fan base all across the United States and thousands of diehard fans in the Midwest they are quickly becoming the band to look out for in 2015. Ever since they formed in Lansing, they have graduated from local home town shows to a touring force to be reckoned with and participating on major festivals across the US playing over 1,500 shows since the bands start in 2000. Heartsick has made their presence known the old fashioned way blood, sweat, and a work ethic matched by few in the industry. Treating every show as if it was their last and every fan as if it was their first. After years of touring and playing under the name Know Lyfe the band has evolved still keeping its core sound and member vocalist Alfonso Civile, guitarist Jerred Pruneau, drummer Justin Robison and bassist Waylon Fox. With a new name and their new Billboard charting record, Heartsick is poised to explode beyond the borders of the Midwest and has already begun a new legendary chapter in their already legendary career.

Laurentian tides:
As the anchors of media continue to pull band after band down to a place where self identity is nearly impossible to maintain, Laurentian tides wades through this maelstrom to venture into the complexity of humanity’s abyss

Tom, Richardoug, Billy, and Alex bring symmetrical melodies to a swirl of chaotic tones and primal rhythms with influences such as the Deftones, Animals as Leaders, The Chariot, Tool, Opeth, Scale the Summit, The Ocean, Candiria, etc.

Formed in 2016, Laurentian Tides finds common ground in avoiding common structures which allows them to compose ideas in such a way, that the art itself tells them what to write. While having obvious roots in progressive metal, the sound of LT culminates almost on accident from their individual interests which include but are not limited to:  thrash, punk, orchestral, world beat, jazz, INDUSTRIAL, AND METAL.

With the line up of Billy Hughes on GUITARS, Tom Chappell on BASS, Alejandro Aguirre on VOCALS, and Richardoug Harris on percussion, a new sound has emerged.
